High Priest is a Judas Priest tribute by Judas Priest fans for Judas Priest fans. Judas Priest have been laying the foundations of heavy metal for over half a century, and High Priest celebrates that entire legacy. Beyond the radio anthems and hits lies a history of brutal, honest, punishing heavy metal that shaped a genre and garnered millions of fans. That is the Judas Priest celebrated by High Priest. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, High Priest was formed in 2023 by five experienced performers who craved the Priest they knew and loved…the hell bent for leather killing machine that shaped each of them as musicians and lifelong metal fans. The twin guitar leads of Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing are provided by Marc Mersol (ex-Cyanide, Children of the Damned) and Andy Heilman (ex-Dinner Music for the Gods, Children of the Damned). A thunderous backbone came courtesy of indomitable local icon Paulie Walnuts (Smashing Alice) on bass and established session drum wizard Robert Wiggin. Dave Fisher (Dio Rising) pays homage to the Metal God’s four octave vocal onslaught and rounds out the lineup. Following Wiggin's 2024 retirement from music, his drum stool was taken over by percussive powerhouse Max Perez Fernandez (Killed by Death, Metalslave). The domination continues without missing a beat.
